Dat dokter ik gaandeweg wel uit. Wat ik vandaag al weet: Toen ik als kind nog niet kon schrijven traceerde ik letters in boeken met een plastic stokje. Verbeelding was toen al alles. Ik groeide op in een meertalig nest, onder de vleugels van een Franstalige moeder en een Engelstalige grootmoeder. Mijn zomers bracht ik door bij mijn vader in Turkije. Wanneer mensen me als 'half' omschrijven, voel ik me vooral dubbel. Mijn debuutroman ‘Honingeter’ kwam in november 2021 uit onder de vleugels van Uitgeverij Pelckmans. Momenteel werk ik aan mijn tweede roman. Dat duurt lang, want dat is veel werk. Ik woon en werk in Antwerpen en droom van een schrijfhut aan het water. Een riante villa mag ook. Who am I?
